Reliance health is a healthcare company owned by Reliance Anil Dhirubhai Ambani group, which plans to offer very affordable healthcare solutions to Indian consumers.

There are a number of health insurance policies offered by Reliance General Insurance:  They are the pioneers in launching the cheapest family floater health insurance and also least amount covered so far of Rs. 1 Lakh for the entire family but now they have withdrawn this policy though.

• Reliance Critical Illness Policy- it provides coverage for 10 critical illnesses or procedures. An individual between 20 to 50 years of age can be covered in this policy.
• Reliance Healthwise Policy Gold plan- It provides a cover of Rs. 2 lakh for a couple at a premium of Rs. 6999 p.a. the family floater benefit means the entire family is covered in the policy.

• Reliance Healthwise policy Standard Plan- Offers a family floater benefit which covers the whole family. It provides a cover of up to Rs. 2 Lakh for a very low annual premium.

• Reliance Healthwise Policy Silver Plan- Hospitalization expenses, day care treatment, domiciliary hospitalization, pre and post hospitalization, and donor expenses are all covered in this policy. For a little higher premium than the standard plan, this offers a cover of Rs. 2 lakh for a couple.

• Reliance Individual Mediclaim Policy- This plan covers the insurer and his family members for hospitalization and other medical related expenses. Individuals from ages 5 to 80 years are covered in this policy. Insurer can also avail tax benefits under section 80D. Mediclaim individual insurance policy covers hospitalization, pre and post hospitalization, domiciliary hospitalization, day care treatment, medical and diagnostic expenses.

• Reliance Individual Personal Accident policy- this policy covers the insurer against accidental death, permanent total disability, permanent partial disability, temporary total disability. It provides compensation to the family in case of accidental death.
